Today when we were at Costco, Illi pointed out the shelf with with Illy Coffee. It was kind of funny to see that she really blended in as she was wearing the same colour as the cans!
Unfortunately on the coffee, it is Illy, not Illi (however many people assume her name is spelt with a y anyway).
A few years ago, I did a search and found there is a place in the USA called Illiana...well not so much a place, as an area. Apparently where Illinois and Indiana meet, there is a speedway and it is called Illiana Speedway. There was also a milk processing factory and they produces glass bottle stamped with Illiana too! I suspect though that while my girl's name is pronounced Illi-ar-na, that in the USA they pronounce it Illi-a-na.
Whatever way others say/spell their versions, I love my Illi/Illiana!
