Last year, every time there was a school disco, Illi had Calisthenics and couldn't go. Calisthenics went 5-8pm, the discos go 6-9pm.
This year as she has taken up Karate instead (which she trains on Tuesday and Friday nights) her Wednesday nights are free.
Tonight was the first disco of the year and Illi's first disco of high school! The theme was Hippy (it was actually much longer winded but the gist of it was hippy).
Last night while the kids were at karate, I popped in to Kmart and found a shirt on a reduced rack that was suitable for our cause.
I did her hair before she left the house, but then I got an SMS during the night telling me I should take a pic of her hair when she got home for this blog...here is a pic, doesn't show much of the hair but does show the outfit that she deemed not too embarrassing to be seen in public wearing but different enough to be in theme.
