I am a teacher but have decided this year should take a slower pace than last year, that I should take time to appreciate life, so how better than to document it in photos!

Day 103 When the kids are away...

With both kids at camp, it is amazing how unstructured our time is.
This evening, we ducked out for a bit, then came home to a call from Mum, and I only got around to cooking dinner at about 8.40pm. Dinner, though, was a little different to when the children are home.
Sean and I are generally happy to eat similar things, whereas kids being kids, they don't like or won't eat certain things. So it was quite refreshing to cook the sirloins (that I had stashed in the freezer) and have a simple salad with them...no fuss, not much mess but VERY tasty for minimal effort.
When the kids are away....feed the man meat! (or is that mixing my slogans?)
