Today there was a huge media focus on the impending 'super moon' (like here). I went to school with a guy who now works as an astronomer with NASA who directed me to here.
I still took some pics though...and found out that a camera phone is NOT ideal to capture such spectacles with. The above is what I consider my best pic of the moon-which I really didn't think was THAT super (not any more than normal anyway).
